Inside the work
An invitation carries the group context and a clear next action.
Shared patterns across interface, framework and lifecycle communications.
Standings, statistics and conversation give the group a shared view of the competition.
Tablet views carry predictions and standings across another product surface.
English email examples connect a product event to a clear next action.
A welcome email and a participation nudge support two different moments in the journey.
The multi-sport launch connects an announcement with creating a pool.
Product actions and lifecycle communications can be designed as one continuous experience.
The product
Quini is a sports prediction-pool product where people create pools, invite friends and make predictions together. The experience spans the product itself and the communications that bring people back to it.
My contribution
I designed the UI/UX across the product and contributed to its overall product direction. My scope also included the design system and framework. I helped shape and implement Quini’s emails, nudges and marketing campaigns, connecting the product experience with the communications around it.
The work connected interface design, reusable patterns and the messages people encounter as they participate.
The design problem
A prediction pool combines several things people need to understand: what they are joining, how to participate, what a result means and what happens next. The interface and the communications around it need to make those relationships clear.
A design system gives a team a shared foundation for building that experience. Emails, nudges and campaigns extend that experience. Their language, presentation and next step need to fit the product people return to.
Breadth of the work
- UI/UX across the product’s screens and flows.
- Overall product collaboration.
- The design system and framework.
- Design and implementation contributions across emails, nudges and campaigns.
These areas describe the breadth of my design contribution within the product team.
A connected experience
The value of looking across these surfaces is continuity. The product and its communications can give people a coherent way to understand what they are doing and what to do next.
Interface and communication examples
The mobile and tablet views show pool participation across predictions, standings, statistics and group conversation. The email examples show invitations, onboarding, participation reminders, pool capacity and a multi-sport campaign.
The invitation and capacity examples are in English. The other email examples retain their Spanish product wording.
